Love Radio is a local Radio station here in Davao City, Philippines. I can’t really recognize their frequency number so I choose to just not state it here.

Last Saturday, when I was at our home watching some shows on television when this 2 persons arrived and asked me some things. "Naa nay nag-survey diri sa inyong lugar about sa mga istasyon sa radio? (Is there any person had already conducted a survey on radio stations here in your place?)", "Unsa nga istasyon ang inyong kasagarang gina paminaw sa radyo dong? (What station do you most tuned up on your radio?)" and I answered M.O.R.. They asked me again, " Unsa pang lain nga istasyon? (What else radio station?)" and I answered Campus Radio and ifm. On that time I am thinking of what radio station they are from so that I will get more goods because in previous times they have been also went into our village and offered some goods; but I just forgot what radio station is that so I just utter those radio station names that i known.

After the interrogation they told me something, "We are from LOVE RADIO, we are here to conduct a survey. And now, We will give you some goods. And if there were any people ask you what radio station do you ussually tuned up with, just say LOVE RADIO and they will give you more prizes. Okay?" and they walked out and said Thank you.

It is so sad thinking that some people are trying to manipulate the truth just for their business’ sake. To win on the surveys; to get more advertisers, and more money. Which is really not a good example.

Last night (Tuesday); Ces Drilon together with her news crew Jimmy Encarnacion and MSU Professor Octavio Dinampo has been freed from the hands of their abductors, Abu Sayyaf. Around Midnight Lastnight when they have found by Media together with the crisis’ negotiators.

On the footage aired by Abs-cbn Ces was very happy of what happened. She thanked everybody for the prayers and help. "I want to thank everybody. Words are not enough to thank those who prayed for the professor, Jimmy, Angel, and myself," Ces said to the reporters.

The freed persons are now staying at Zamboanga City and will be brought back to Manila after taking enough rest and some medical procedures.

Last sunday (June 7, ‘08) Cess Drilon and her crew were abducted by unkwon people. Last night (June 12, ‘08) Abs-cbn says that the News Team was abducted by Abu Sayaff and were asking for a ransom for the freedom of the news team and one professor.

Until today there were still no information about the kidnapped media personnels.

I have just attended a YFC (Youth For Christ) Youth Camp retreat and it has ended just a few hours from now. Although it was so tiring serving the participants, but it was really worth it! There is no such thing that you can show to God that you’re really serving him but serving the other people for Him.

I have been a Youth For Christ member for two years and as I had observed;for the long long time that I am attending youth camps as a service team I can now really say that I had grow a lot! If before my intensions was just to have fun by meeting my friends and just play around through the camp; now It’s not like that anymore! I can now feel what is the real essence of being a YFC! a YFC that is not just serving God just to be praised by the other people, but to serve God for real! For the past years on being at the service, I really haven’t felt this feeling before. I’m now not waiting for any affirmations by the other people but only doing what is the right thing to be done.

By that I can really now say that I have really grown. Not just physically but of course spiritually!

I will be forever proud of being a YFC. I will be forever called as a servant.

And I will be forever Marked by Christ!

As of now, I’ve been really so confused on how to grow it and how to managed these all. But as of today, I’m learning almost everything!
